HISTORY

When Southern Community Bank first opened its doors in 2005 as The Bank of Tullahoma, its founders were committed to the idea of creating a bank that was unlike all the rest. They wanted a friendly bank with simple, convenient products—a place where people could expect to be treated very well.

In 2011, we changed our name to Southern Community Bank. We did this to reflect our commitment to all of the southern communities who want to bank with people they know and trust. We are profitable, heavy on capital and poised to be your bank for many years to come.
